In this lesson we see the importance of the future nature of the kingdom on earth. The kingdom of God was rejected by the nation of Israel when Jesus Christ came the first time to the earth. He offered them the kingdom, they did not accept His offer. Therefore, the kingdom was delayed, and will be offered again to the nation during the Tribulation period. They will then accept Christ as their Messiah, and He will bring the kingdom to the earth.

The Bible makes very clear that one day there is going to be a person on the earth who will establish world dominion, and he is called the Man of Lawless, and the Son of Perdition. He is also called the Antichrist. Paul, in his second letter to the Thessalonians, makes it very clear that this person will come to the earth, but he will be destroyed by the Lord Jesus Christ when He comes again to establish His kingdom. Listen to this message to gain a deeper understanding of this future time, and gain encouragement from the fact that we, as believers in Christ, will not be on the earth for this period of intense judgment, but rather we will be in heaven, waiting for the day when we will return with Christ when He comes back to the earth.

Does God really love the world, or does He only love some people- Does God really desire for the world to be saved, or does He only want some people to be saved- These are questions that can be answered from the most famous verse in the Bible, John 3-16. When we study this passage in context, we can come to no other conclusion than God desires for all people to look to Christ, believe in Him, and receive eternal life.
