Jon, also known as "Binker" around the streets of Oshkosh, WI, made an epic appearance onto episode 52 last night. Jon recently graduated from UW-Oshkosh with a degree in marketing, where he quickly realized like many other college students that no job is guaranteed following college. After some hard work he stumbled upon a pretty sweet gig at Silver Star Brands. Here, he gets to harness his creativity on the daily, hand-crafting emails to send out to over 50,000 people—almost the population of Oshkosh. On top of that, Binker is working on the side to get his license to sell life insurance as well as chasing a hobby of his in videography/photography. With a part two to come very soon onto Flying Intuition, you may just find a one-of-a-kind collab between Binker and Jeremy premiering in the near future. But before that, we've got a gift for you guys. This is Jon Binner.

We're back and buzzin' on Life of the Germ. It's spring break and we're feeling real good. The best vacation money can by—getting back to the hometown and slowly reviving. I've been thinking an awful lot about how to grow in life. Having the courage to take a jump is what it's all about. Ambition is such a powerful tool, and when used in the right instances has huge pay offs in the long run. Here's my take on ambition and what it means to take the shot, even when you think you're not up for it.

Positivity is the name and me failing to rhyme is the game. Spoken through the lens of a positive-thinker, I hop on this episode to explain how seeing things in a positive light can completely turn your life around. So much of how you think on a day-to-day basis can impact your well-being in the long run. Taking advantage of a positive mindset has had obvious improvements on my well-being, and I'm happy to share that with you guys in this one. Positivity, the meat of this week's topic, comes later in the episode (about halfway through), so feel free to skip through the first half of me rambling about my week if you're not looking for some super entertaining stories.

Huge shoutout to Sal for being the first grad student to come on the pod! Sal is currently a Master's student in the Agroecology program at UW-Madison. Quickly approaching his thesis defense this spring, he plans to graduate with Jeremy in spring '23. Sal and Jeremy started working together on his project this past summer. Many of the details of the project are sprinkled in throughout this episode as well as a few of the many things Sal enjoys when he's outside of the lab. California born, Sal also shares his story as to how he stumbled upon the best state that the U.S. has to offer–Wisconsin. In conclusion, two legends team up to make episode 51 one to remember (obviously). This is Sal Grover.
