After many doubts as to if we'd even make it to this point, baseball is finally back and so is Flyover Territory! Well, it's been back for almost a month now, but you get the point. Having roughly a quarter of the 2020 season to analyze before this relaunch episode, Dave and Woody take a look back at how the season has gone through 16 games, why our bullpen might be primed to carry us through the season, buying high on Nelson Cruz for early season MVP, and looking into the future beyond the 2020 season and all the question marks that come along with that. Hey, at least we're not dealing with what the Cardinals are going through...

After sifting through the winter meetings, free agency, arbitration, and Madison Bumgarner not signing with the hometown Twins... we have finally arrived at the unofficial official start of spring training! This week Dave and Woody comb over the spring training roster, question how this team won't break it's own record of 307 home runs set just last season after adding Josh Donaldson, talk themselves into a Kenta Maeda Cy Young Award run, and look at the AL Central to figure out just how this season might go for the Twins in 2020.

Just when you thought it couldn't possibly get any better, Flyover Territory is back for season 2! Full disclosure, we were ready to debut season 2 at the beginning of the offseason, but the 2019 AL Central Division Champs had something to say about that. This week we dive back into everything playoff baseball, for the first time since 2010, the Twins have an actual ALDS series to play. Dave and Woody discuss all things 307 (if you know you know), how the 25 man roster for October is looking like, and who may just be the 2019 regular season MVP for the Twins on their magical run to 101 wins and the AL Central Division crown! It's 47 games into the 2019 MLB Season, and the Minnesota Twins are in 1st place in the AL Central! After a hot start to April, the Twins haven't cooled down at all as they cruise through May, and Dave and Woody have been taking it all in this whole time. Riding off the coattails of the Nelson Cruz signing, the Twins finally went out and made a big free agent pitching signing in Martin Perez! Ok, so maybe not exactly the same, but it's been a slow month since signing Cruz, and to add to that the weather sucks in MN right now. But fear not as pitchers and catchers report in just a few days! Dave and Woody look towards the dog days of Fort Myers and break down the recent signings, big names still available on the market, and lastly the 3 main things they're looking forward to hopefully getting sorted out in Fort Myers this spring.

Sometimes plans get ruined, but this time they got ruined in a great way. In our third episode, we planned on breaking down the current Twins pitching situation as the calendar turns to 2019. Yet, in a total non-Twins move, Falvey and Co. went out and signed Nelson Cruz, so naturally Dave and Woody spend the first half of the pod or so gushing over the best HR hitter of the past 5 seasons, before moving on to the more head scratching topic of who will be our 5th starter?
