  • At Home With FNR | 12 October 2020 | FNR Football Nation Radio
Ante Jukic joins Josh and Lachie for an in-depth review of the international break, including France failing to break down a stubborn Portugal (2:35), England fielding three right backs against Belgium (19:25), Croatia going fluid and strikerless against Sweden (34:30), and penalty drama in the Euro 2021 playoff semis (44:10).
Plus, there's South American qualifiers to examine. Why can't Argentina build a functioning team around Messi? Is Chile's golden era over? And can Tabarez's Uruguay go around again?

  • K-League United | 8 October 2020 | FNR Football Nation Radio
Ryan Walters is joined as usual by Peter Hampshire, and for the first time in 2020(!) Steve Price joins to discuss the first Korean National Team game of the year. But, before getting into all that, they begin with Final A in K League 1 where Ulsan reclaimed a three point lead in the title race as Jeonbuk stumbled against a surging Pohang side. Elsewhere, Daegu sealed AFC Champions League for just the second time in their history with a narrow victory. The three discuss the title race and what international football means for the Sky Blues.
Moving on to the Final everyone wants to talk about, the three take a look at the results in Final B where Incheon fell back to 12th place once again... barely. However, the somewhat expected loss against Suwon hasn't derailed the Incheon hype train as Seongnam also lost at the weekend and remain just a single point above United in the league table. Also... Seoul isn't exactly safe.
The second and third segments see Ryan, Pete, and Steve discuss Team Bento and Team Kim Hak-bum. They each go over their surprise inclusions or exclusions from the squad, expectations for each side, and one player to keep an eye on in the two friendlies.
Lastly, they open a brief Eulji Lewis Mailbag with questions about Bento's job security, Ulsan's chances of bottling it (again), and whether or not the second friendly is quite necessary.

  • If You Know Your History| 8 October 2020 | FNR Football Nation Radio

In 100 years ago today, Ian examines Sydney's 1920 Gardiner Cup final between Granville and Balmain Fernleigh.
Plus, there's more discoveries in the Australian soccer history front, and a follow-up from last week on why the ABC tried to have South Melbourne wound up in 1998.

  • J-Talk Podcast | 7 October 2020 | FNR Football Nation Radio
