Tonight in our advent reflections, we reflect on the Power of God. 

Turns out, the most powerful being in the universe sees power differently than we do.  And it's a good thing for us He does!

God could no sooner stop loving you than He could stop being Holy.  God could no sooner stop loving you than He could stop being Just.  God could no sooner stop loving you than He could stop being God.  It's who He is. 

Our Second candle of Advent this year is the Justice Candle.  What does it mean that our God is a God of Justice?  Why was this such a point of hope and encouragement to the Israelites?

Just a few thoughts from the heart intended to encourage. 

Maybe it's time to think deeply about gratitude.  How are we really supposed to give thanks always and for everything?  Is it even possible?  Is it even right?  The truth of the exhortations to gratitude will not shame you, burden you, or condemn you, but seen in their context might even thrill you.

We begin our second annual season of celebration with an emphasis on helpful reflection this year.

The Bottom Line.  The Core Value which gives meaning to all the other core values.

We believe scripture has authority in our lives.  We believe that most Christians are missing out because they do not open enough time to begin to be transformed by the incredible story of the universes progression from creation through frustration to redemption at God's hands as outlined in the Bible.  

But, we also don't believe that Scripture is God's main curriculum for our maturity.  How can this be?  Check out Core Value 5 to see what we mean.
