What are you consuming?

What are you tasting, seeing, hearing, touching, & smelling?

What you consume influences your thoughts, mood, energy, appearance, and views on God, people, & yourself?

How often do you stop to consider how the things you consume impact you.

Today we are going to be talking about physical movement, working out, & the importance of keeping your body in shape.

How are you being a good steward of the body God has given you?

If your body is the temple & the only vehicle that allows you to love God & others, how well are you taking care of yourself?

"Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly."

The Power of REST is that it requires us to surrender to God.

BUILDING HEALTHY ACCOUNTABILITY

When we are exhausted, our fuse from happy to pissed off can be one trigger away.

Building healthy accountability starts with each of us taking a long look in the mirror and acknowledges our own sin, toxicity, pain, unhealthiness.

As we become more self-aware we actually care more about those around us. We aren't just conscious of our own needs and desires, but we are more in touch with the needs of others. We grow in compassion, empathy, patience, & love.

What if being an everyday millionaire was based on the people you serve instead of the money in your bank account?

What if leveling up is doing less so you can have more time to think, have more time to process hurt in your life, or have more time to love other people?

What if He wants you to go to places that seem lower than your comfort zone, to see His children's needs, and pour His love on them?

Many times there is a shame is put around doubt or questioning what God is doing.

Naturally, we ask "why?" Think about a child when they first start asking questions. Their first question is typically why?

God is NOT afraid to answer our questions. Many times, I think He would love us to ask more questions instead of numb our feelings or ignore our feelings.

Elijah and Moses are two men I gravitate towards because they are doing awesome miracles of God, yet they also question why God chose them.

We take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

Friends, in your severe trials, what fruit are you producing?

Their overflowing joy and their extreme poverty welled up in rich generosity.

Ask yourself, "Why am I thinking this?" "What is this saying about me that I need to entertain these thoughts?"

What if we are looking for the wrong type of distinguishment?

What if Jesus' final prayer for believers became our daily prayer?

Today we are breaking down Jesus' final prayer in the Garden Gethsemane before He was crucified. The words He chose to pray are transformational, selfless, and focused on His goal.

What would our lives looked like if we constantly considered that if we call ourselves Christian's we are claiming to be children of God. Children of God are representatives of God. They are carriers of Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit is love, joy, peace, kindness, gentleness, goodness, patience, self-control, & faithfulness.

My immediate list of dry bones looked like this: A tornado hitting my city COVID – the shutdown of everything Hurricane winds hitting our city The racist acts A lot of other personal things The election and all the chaos that brought us A bomb going off on Christmas Day in Nashville Then the capital attack.

CAN THESE BONES LIVE?

WILL YOU PUT ASIDE EVERY DOUBT, FEAR, & DISAPPOINTMENT TO COME INTO A PLACE OF EXPECTATION, GREAT FAITH, & AUTHORITY?

Will you begin prophesying to the dead bones to live?
