God comes right in the context of our everyday lives. The key is to believe in Him and to be aware of His presence (Heb. 11:6).

Releasing our thoughts and feelings to God is very therapeutic. He is our rock and our salvation. He is our defense (Ps. 62:1-2).

Keeping it together is not easy these days. We do our best to stay calm and put on a brave face during difficult times. We try not to show any signs of vulnerability, worry, or doubt. This is how we program ourselves to function. However, there is someone who does have the time to listen and cares deeply. He is your heavenly Father. As you go throughout the day take time to share your concerns with Him (Ps. 62:1-2).

We can speak and plan what kind of day that we want to have. We don’t have to be on the defensive, we can be on the offensive by initiating and investing into our joy today. We don’t have to wait to see how things go today. We can take charge and be determined that we are going to soar by setting our minds on things above (Col. 3:1-2).

Try something different or do something differently today. Who knows what may come of it? Do you know that God broke new ground by doing something that was never done before (II Cor. 5:21)?

Be encouraged as you listen to this replay from week one. Our heavenly Father covers us and does not miss one detail of our day.

We continue our discussion on waiting and address some key benefits. We can rest in knowing that our heavenly Father is in control (Ps. 27:14).

Waiting is not one of our most important words or subjects. We live in hurry and fast paced culture. We want less wait times and more efficiency. The idea of waiting is not very appealing. Yet, the Lord gives us an encouraging disposition while we are waiting for Him (Ps. 27:14).

There is no automatic setting to our spiritual lives. We manually live out our faith each day. God works in us to will and do for his good pleasure (Phil. 2:13).
