On the October 30th, 2023 edition of Notre Dame Federal Credit Union's Irish Football, host Angelo Di Carlo chats with Notre Dame football team chaplain Father Nate Wills about the state of the faith of the Irish program.
A Congregation of Holy Cross priest, Fr. Nate is in his 6th year as the Notre Dame team chaplain. He serves as the Director of Blended Learning Initiatives at the Alliance for Catholic Education and on the faculty of the Mary Ann Remick Leadership Program.
We discuss the importance for him to be there for players when they need him most, what makes Marcus Freeman so likeable, Notre Dame football celebrating 100 years of giving out prayer medals before games and what it’s like to be the very last person to talk to the team before they run out of the tunnel.
