This past year, I have enjoyed knowing Lauren and her amazing self. In this episode, she talks about her college path, development, white savior complex, and so much more!! Born in India and raised in Nigeria, Lakshmi Gopinathan comes to talk about growing up in Lagos as an Indian woman. From drives with her friends to her love for Afrobeats, she shares what it was like to grow up with two cultures she loves so much and make her the individual she is today.   

Tejshri Gohel comes and discusses the best ways to keep a safe and healthy lifestyle. She speaks from her perspective as a nurse practitioner specializing in women's health. From adolescents to reproductive age and so on, this episode will give you tips on how to stay healthy both physically and mentally.

Emma Hoehn, an Urban Native, is here to tell the stories of her life growing up as a mixed Native American and European in the 21st century. From Blood Quantums to living with her native suitemates, her stories share how beautiful and essential her upbringing and experiences are to her identity.

The Black Lives Matter movement has been going on since the 1960s, but this year, 2020, we have seen significant changes for it. Millions of people from all 50 states and 13+ countries have joined together to help fight for the rights of black people. Today in this episode, we have four special guests speaking about why the BLM movement is so important and their perspectives on it.
