Last week, we kicked off a new series, Folks Like Us, introducing the ten values of the Franklin Vineyard Church. This week, we'll be looking at the importance of small group ministry!

The early Vineyard days began in the home of Kenn Gullicksen in the 1970's. Kenn would invite people to come over to his house to sing simple songs of praise, read through Scripture, and spend time in prayer for another. The Vineyard roots are in small groups!

It's not just that small groups are a great tradition for the Vineyard; we believe wholeheartedly that real life and ministry can happen in smaller groups, and so we emphasize being a part of a small group. In small groups, people are seen, known, and loved, and it's absolutely one of our values at the Vineyard!
