FolkScene pays tribute to Byron Berline and John Hickman who both passed away this year. Berline the acclaimed bluegrass fiddle player who expanded the vocabulary of his instrument died at the age of 77 on July 10, 2021, in Oklahoma City due to complications from a stroke.
