What happens when you really niche down in your business?
This episode proves that developing a business around your passion and a specific audience will absolutely work well. It's important to never give up on your dreams of influencing your audience in bigger ways. Even if you don't think it's possible right now, take a step back to see the bigger picture. Because being able to recognize that you might want to pivot to work in your passion is brilliant.
Today's guest believes "emotional intelligence is something that needs to be cultivated throughout life, but even more so as a teenager." She also knows the value of guiding families through challenging times as a teen life coach, mentor, and teacher.
Tahira Bell is a Teen Life Coach. She has been passionate about her work with teens since her days in the classroom. After earning her bachelor's degree in biology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, she combined her love for the sciences with her desire to make the subject real and relevant for young people as a teacher in the Atlanta metro area. Tahira later transitioned to The University of Pittsburgh and completed a master's program in secondary science education as a high school teacher.
Aside from her experience as an educator, Tahira Bell is a graduate of the Teen Wisdom certified life coach training program, the only life coach training program with a curriculum that specifically focuses on coaching teen girls. She is also a graduate of the CAPP (Coaching And Positive Psychology) Institute and holds a certification in personal development coaching. She has spent over fifteen years working with girls also through community outreach efforts, as a tutor and mentor. Tahira also designs and implements the programming for the HYPE (Helping Young People Excel) of the Kendrell and Tahira Bell Bellievers foundation, a non-profit organization that she co-founded with her husband.
