Today Shirley talks about "Christmas Expectations."  Christmas 2020 will look very different, won't it? We will have to make numerous changes in our Christmas celebrations due to the global pandemic and its concomitant restrictions.. There are Christmas traditions we won't be able to honor and we won't be able to spend Christmas with family and friends.

As a result, we may put unrealistic expectations on ourselves and others to "make up" for all the things we'll not get to do and those whom we will not get to see.

We must continually remind ourselves that Christmas is a celebration of God’s precious Gift, Jesus, coming to earth to live among us as Immanuel—God with us—fully God and fully man.
