Following Life’s Nudges and Edits

We often think of our intuition as a voice in our head, guiding us in the proper direction. But our true spiritual guidance system is far broader than that. In fact, life itself can be our guide when we agree to tune in, listen deeply, and flow with her energy. In this episode, I share about how our life events can gently (and sometimes not so gently) guide us towards greater spiritual alignment, and why learning to go with the flow will transform your life.

Life will naturally give us nudges and edits towards what serves our greatest good. That lost job may indicate the need for some time off or a career change. Your sudden craving for watermelon may be exactly what you need to get out of the house and run into an old friend. Life is really that magical!

Feeling stuck usually means that you are out of alignment with life, and are pushing against the flow. Relaxing into wherever life wants to take you is usually the more peaceful and joyous path.

The more we focus on the experience of being “stuck” the more we feel that way. Instead, gently shift your attention to the areas of life that seem to be moving forward effortlessly.

If we ignore life’s gentle nudges they may become increasingly less gentle in order to capture our attention.

Sometimes life’s edits are manifested through our fear-based beliefs. For example, if you believe that you are not deserving of a loving partner, you may experience abandonment. One trick in shifting these patterns is to treat every experience as a miracle, and recognize that life is always showing you where your soul longs to expand.

Your intuition will help you align with the flow in life. It’s not about what is “good” or “bad” but what feels deeply right for you in the present moment.
