Join us in this episode of Following to Lead with Kevin East as he speaks with Linda Jones. Linda Jones is also the Founder of the WOWTEC e-Academy Mentorship Program, offering practical and relatable Biblical teachings to help anyone find solutions and lead to a deeper connection to the Lord. Linda Jones formed the Women of Worth Ministries community for those ready to walk out of past hurts and emotional struggles and partner with God in fulfilling their destiny. Linda Jones grew up in a household filled with constant fighting and trauma, as her alcoholic father was extremely abusive. Her mother hoarded the pain and anger, which she, in turn, dumped on Linda and her two brothers. The abuse continued for most of Linda's life until her mother passed last year. Linda spent her entire life trying to fix her mother, hoping that they would be happy once she was fixed. But there was no fixing her mother, and nothing Linda did seemed to be enough. They talk about moving from emotional pain and emotional trauma to emotional wholeness and healing, rising out of brokenness to impact others. Listen to this episode to find out more.

Quote:
We decided to recover or repeat the previous generation's sins. One of the important aspects of our lives is changing the trajectory of our families.
Adolescence is a new phase, even for us as parents.
One of the biggest things for the teen years is to help them make responsible decisions.
Your decision today will affect you for the rest of your life.
Each kid is different, and each kid will react and handle things differently.
I need to show love to my kids even when I don’t think they are making the wisest decisions.
