In this passage, Jesus invites us to consider the destructive impact that thoughts, words, and actions rooted in anger inevitably have on us and others. He invites us participate in his radical new way characterized by a commitment to love, unity, and reconciliation. He makes this truly possible in each of our hearts through the transforming work of his Holy Spirit.
