Samia Chundrigar joins us for an interesting conversation around Mental Health, Addiction and Disordered eating. Food may be the number one addiction in Pakistan but it is the least talked about.
Samia and Shehzad get into a debate about nutrition, eating, addiction and mental health, on this deep dive conversation about what we eat and why we eat it.
This is the second of our seven part special series in collaboration with the Pak-US Alumni Network titled, 'Conversations for Change', where we discuss pressing social issues, and have conversations about them with experts.
Samia is a Humanistic Integrative therapist based in Karachi. Originally a lawyer by profession, Samia entered the world of metal health in 2012 and trained as a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor with a London-based Counselling School’s Pakistan Chapter, Centre for Personal and Professional Development (CPPD).
The Pakistan Experience is an independently produced podcast looking to tell stories about Pakistan, and Pakistanis, through the lost art of conversation. We do deep dive long form podcasts to show you the many shades that encapsulate The Pakistan Experience.
