I ask myself the same question every morning when I wake up and every afternoon I drive home. Our sons inquire about it when I pull in the drive way and my wife requests an answer when I walk in the house.
“What’s for dinner?”
The answer to this question can be an easy one or one that causes me to wrack my brain. It all depends on whether or not one of us has gone grocery shopping.
Ahh! The magical world of food. Today we often take it for granted – a luxury at times. Going to the grocery store and having a seemingly endless array of foods to choose from. Or a chore other times. Having to find the time to make a list, locate every item on it, and wait in line to pay.
Regardless… the food we eat, the way it’s packaged, the manner in which it’s processed, and how it makes its way from field and farm to grocery store and market, all the way to our dining room tables at night – are often overlooked and might just astound you, amaze you. Surely without this technology our lives would change drastically. On this episode of The Missing Chapter, we delve into one of my favorite topics – food! And we ask the age-old question… What’s for dinner?
