The story is as old as mankind—chasing something that sounds like pure freedom… only to end up more stuck than before. In 2 Peter 2:19, false teachers dangle the word "freedom" like bait—promising the liberty to do what you want. But what lies on the other side of that freedom is a whole new bondage, worse than ever before. What is "real" freedom? Our culture says freedom means throwing off every restraint. The Bible says something radically different. What is the greatest thing a human being could ever do? Of all God's commandments, which one matters most? In Mark 12:28–31, a scribe asks Jesus one of the most important questions in all of Scripture: "Which commandment is the most important?"
