September 21, 2021Episode 51: Concluding our MCU Journey, thoughts on Phase 4 and PlayStation ShowcaseIn this episode The Fools discuss their final opinions on the Infinity Saga. It was a long journey but we managed to transform Bosh from a guy who didn't care to a super fan of the MCU. We are excited to see how the next phase will turn out. Looking at the Phase 4 timeline and dealing with the multiverse, it will definitely be a great story to tell. We also end up talking about the PlayStation Showcase and getting hyped for some of the games that got announced.Intro Music: Soda Pop by https://www.purple-planet.comOutro Music: Inner City Blues by https://www.purple-planet.com...more1h 8minPlay
September 14, 2021Episode 50: Spider-Man Far From Home (2019) Movie DiscussionIn this episode The Fools talk about "Spider-Man: Far From Home". This movie feels like a nice conclusion to Phase 3 and not only that but it has a good story with another awesome villain. It sucks that some of the characters from the previous movie like Ned and Aunt May got a reduced role but they still have good amount of screen time based on the story. Mysterio is another villain that Marvel has done well translating onto the big screen. The illusion scene is probably our favourite moment in all of the Marvel movies we watched. This is a great sequel and we both recommend watching.Intro Music: Soda Pop by https://www.purple-planet.comOutro Music: Inner City Blues by https://www.purple-planet.com...more46minPlay
September 07, 2021Episode 49: Avengers Endgame (2019) Movie DiscussionIn this episode The Fools talk about "Avengers: Endgame". All the previous movies leading up to this massive crossover event. Boscha at first didn't really care for the MCU but now he is hooked and is excited to continue the journey. This is our longest movie discussion and there is a lot to go over. We talk about the recasting of Cassie Lang, Hulk's character development (or the lack of), the female heroes team up scene and the story of Captain America and Iron Man, how their story is completed and many more topics. By far the best MCU movie and we won't see something on this scale for a long time. The hype for the movie payed off and the emotions you feel when seeing a chapter close is high. Really worth the journey and the movies to get to this point.P.S. You guys will hear some shuffling/background noise but that is because we are still working on using the new equipment, hopefully by the next episode we get it all sorted out.Intro Music: Soda Pop by https://www.purple-planet.comOutro Music: Inner City Blues by https://www.purple-planet.com...more1h 47minPlay
August 31, 2021Episode 48: Captain Marvel (2019) Movie DiscussionIn this episode The Fools talk about "Captain Marvel". Another Marvel movie where the general audience didn't really enjoy it as much. When we watched it again, it wasn't as bad as we remembered it to be. Perhaps this movie being right before Endgame left people in a mood. People just want to get the the main meat and not another filler. There are parts that we enjoyed and parts that could have been better. We would say its okay at best is a fair score.Intro Music: Soda Pop by https://www.purple-planet.comOutro Music: Inner City Blues by https://www.purple-planet.com...more53minPlay
August 24, 2021Episode 47: Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018) Movie DiscussionIn this episode The Fools have a discussion on the movie "Ant-Man and the Wasp". Although many people thought this movie was weaker than the first one, we actually quite enjoyed it. We thought that the character interaction and the action scenes were well done. The plot however was lacking. As Boscha stated, it was lacking a threat. We didn't think the characters had any real struggle. It is in the end, a great family film that is enjoyable and the scenes with Scott and his daughter is the best.Intro Music: Soda Pop by https://www.purple-planet.comOutro Music: Inner City Blues by https://www.purple-planet.com...more42minPlay
August 17, 2021Episode 46: Avengers Infinity War (2018) Movie DiscussionIn this episode The Fools talk about "Avengers: Infinity War". We are so close to the end and we finally arrived at Infinity War. All the films leading up to this war and it the payoff was worth it. All the action scenes were really great, got to see some of the stones in action and every hero and villain got a good amount of screen time. Of course there was some problems we had with this movies such as the stones weren't used to it's fullest capabilities and the Children of Thanos dying like bums. The ending is perfect and we would highly recommend watching this if you haven't already. Also slight oopsies in this episode. Black Dwarf was the original name in the comics but in the MCU he is called Cull Obsidian.Intro Music: Soda Pop by https://www.purple-planet.comOutro Music: Inner City Blues by https://www.purple-planet.com...more1h 14minPlay
August 10, 2021Episode 45: Black Panther (2018) Movie DiscussionIn episode The Fools talk about "Black Panther". Great characters, awesome music and designs. The story and theme of this film is probably the best we had seen in a MCU film so far. There are some problems with this film such as the final fight being an ugly CGI mess. Another fun movie to watch and gives you something to think about. Intro Music: Soda Pop by https://www.purple-planet.comOutro Music: Inner City Blues by https://www.purple-planet.com...more57minPlay
August 03, 2021Episode 44: Thor Ragnarok (2017) Movie DiscussionIn this episode The Fools talk about "Thor: Ragnarok". This was a movie to watch. Thor has completely changed and the visuals for the movie is really great. The baddies don't have a strong story behind them but they still feel very powerful. Even if the jokes are somewhat lame, the movie is still overall one of the better MCU films.Intro Music: Soda Pop by https://www.purple-planet.comOutro Music: Inner City Blues by https://www.purple-planet.com...more1h 4minPlay
July 27, 2021Episode 43: Spider-Man Homecoming (2017) Movie DiscussionIn this episode The Fools talk about "Spider-Man: Homecoming". Although it wasn't a bad movie, it felt like an "origin" film so to speak. It followed the MCU formula however there is a big difference this time around. The villain of the film was really great. We were both a huge fan of the Vulture. One thing we forgot to mention was the controversy of casting Zendaya as MJ (Michelle Jones). They say that it is not the MJ (Mary Jane Watson) that we all know and love but a different take. We think that it is a cool change but we do miss the red hair. Maybe we will get the original MJ in the future. The film is fun and enjoyable but even with an awesome villain, it doesn't have the "wow" factor.Intro Music: Soda Pop by https://www.purple-planet.comOutro Music: Inner City Blues by https://www.purple-planet.com...more53minPlay
July 20, 2021Episode 42: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017) Movie DiscussionIn this episode the Fools talk about "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2". The villains seem to be lacking which seems to be a trend for the MCU. It was nice to have some backstory for the other characters but not a whole lot of character change. The theme of family reminded us the Fast and Furious memes. Overall it is a good movie, it just has been done before with the first one.Intro Music: Soda Pop by https://www.purple-planet.comOutro Music: Inner City Blues by https://www.purple-planet.com...more33minPlay
