March 01, 2023Episode 6: College Football is IN TROUBLE and I have THE SOLUTIONI have a plan to save and even IMPROVE College Football! Because of Conference Realignment and Television Contract deals, College Football is losing parity and will eventually cannibalize itself. We need regionally located conferences to create a more robust sport.Welcome to our series on the Premier and Championship Leagues. I have realigned FBS into two 72 school leagues, and each league will have 6 conferences (West, Central, Mid-South, Southeast, North, and East) with 12 teams. Each team will play an 11 game schedule against the teams in the same conference. At the conclusion of the regular season, all 72 teams in each league will be seeded and compete in a tournament similar to March Madness of College Basketball. After 3 years worth of data points, teams in the Premier League can be demoted based upon performance and teams in the Champions League can be promoted based upon performance. 6 schools from each league will be relegated every 3 years....more16minPlay

There are not as many teams capable of winning a national championship as we think! Not all teams are created equal!! Are FBS titles bought? Who has the best talent, facilities, NIL, and coaching? Adam breaks down FBS College Football Teams using the most important metric for predicting wins and losses: Points Scored and Points Allowed. He assigns teams as Generalists or Specialists depending on how good they are at one or both of the metrics. These terms (Generalists and Specialists) are used in the animal kingdom to describe organisms and how they adapt, evolve and compete against each other. Using these categories, Adam explains why teams are able to win or lose games because of the category in which they are assigned. Teams are also labeled as Dangerous, Mutants, Survivors and Sufferers.Adam also discusses:The differences and similarities between the "Get off my Lawn Guy" and the "Scooby Doo Villians".What makes a good rivalry? His friend Jesse Robert DeBaker DDS PC as a guest picker for future wagers that listeners may want to hear about....more1h 8minPlay

February 10, 2023Episode 2: Shout Outs and CorrectionsThis is my first attempt at a video episode. We had some great feedback from the first podcast episode! 1. My College Teammate, Dylan Ellerbee, held me accountable for mixing together 2 different Patriot Superbowl Teams. He also reminded me that I started my career as an offensive player. Thank you!2. One of my former colleagues, Jeremie Collins, encouraged me to be better about my eye discipline. This is regarding the pizza I made and ate after I ate lobster mac & cheese. Jeremie worked on the first ever staff at Arizona Christian University with me. I gave a shout out to some of the guys on that staff.3. Brad Roesler, a member of the Maypearl Community, asked me to speak about high school transfers. Transferring in football has become much more common, especially at the college level. I proceeded to tell Brad's son Heath (who I coached), that his father is cooler than he is. I created a poll asking for your opinions on transfers and varsity eligibilityI asked a question to the listeners: What topics do you want to talk about?...more8minPlay
