Despite starting in Uruguay's 2022 World Cup qualifier against Ecuador at 01:30 BST on Friday, Fede Valverde is determined to be back in Spain in time for Real Madrid's clash against Celta Vigo at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday night. The 23-year-old midfielder picked up his family and paid for a private flight from Montevideo to Madrid on order to arrive in Spain as early as Friday afternoon. Valverde decided against getting some rest before travelling back to Europe, as he is willing to be at Carlo Ancelotti's disposal for Real Madrid's return to the Bernabeu. In fact, LaLiga have organized a private jet flight for the South American internationals, but the Uruguayan midfielder was keen to return sooner after playing a key role in Uruguay's 1-0 win over Ecuador.
