The Great Co-Mission

Following Jesus means reordering our entire lives around Him, giving Him greater loyalty than family, comfort, possessions, or even our own lives. Jesus calls us to count the cost of discipleship and surrender everything to Him, trusting that whatever following Him costs, He is worth it.

The Great Co-Mission

God created us not only to glorify Him, but also to enjoy Him, receiving the good gifts of this short and often difficult life with gratitude and joy. Whether we eat, drink, work, rest, worship, or celebrate, every part of life is an opportunity to recognize God’s goodness and do all things for His glory.

The Tower of Babel: The Kingdoms We Build

Whose name are we building our lives to make great: our own or God’s? The Tower of Babel warns us against trusting our own kingdoms, while Jesus invites us to receive by grace the life and future only He can provide.

Gideon: The Mighty Man of Valor

Gideon begins as an unlikely deliverer whom God graciously uses, but he ends as another flawed judge who cannot ultimately save God's people. By reading the whole story—not just the famous parts—we learn that the hero is never Gideon, but the Lord. Gideon's life leaves us longing for the perfect Deliverer, Jesus Christ.
