Spiritual pride will keep you blinded to sin in your life. It is important not to be body ruled. We need to be ruled by the inward man, our spirit. It is key to understand that we are righteous in our spirit man to walk in victory. When we or others sin, it is not the spirit man, but the flesh, mind or outward man that causes the error. The inner man always wants to do right. Our inward and outer man are at war. The battlefield is our mind or soul. Our soul or mind, chooses the winner between the two natures. The answer to have the spiritual victory in this war is in the work Christ has already completed for us. Our mind must be renewed to this wonderful work Christ has finished for us and is revealed in the Word of God. Renewing our mind will result in keeping our body under subjection to God's word. Our mind and bodies are not affected by the new birth. We need to renew our mind or soul to the word of God.
