Launch - Luke 9:23-25, 57-62: We all have things we want to put first: comfort, family, responsibilities, plans, all kinds of things. But Jesus’ invitation is both simple and challenging: follow Me fully. In Luke 9:23–25 and 57–62, Jesus encounters people who want to follow Him - but each has a “first, let me.” Jesus offers something better. He gave up comfort, set His face toward the cross and surrendered everything to bring us home. Following Jesus isn’t about following perfectly; it’s about deciding who comes first. Truth & Practice - Psalm 90:10-17: Life moves faster than we realize. Summers end, children grow, years pass and the days we assume we have are never guaranteed. In Psalm 90:10–17, Moses asks God to teach us to number our days so that we might gain a heart of wisdom. The Fountain of Wisdom flows from seeing God clearly, recognizing the brevity of life and receiving His abundant grace. Rather than making us fearful, Biblical wisdom teaches us to live with greater joy, purpose and intention - trusting God to establish the work of our hands. Truth & Practice - Isaiah 65:17-25: How we envision our future has a tremendous impact on how we experience our life today. Hope – the expectation of goodness to come - is a powerful thing, but given all the pain and disappointment we often experience in this life, it can be hard to hold on to. Join us as we look at the promise God gives in Isaiah 65:17-25 to make all things new and redeem all that is lost at the renewal of all things, encouraging us that, in Jesus, we have a beautiful future and therefore, so much reason with meaningful hope today!

Truth & Practice - Psalm 15: What does it mean to be holy? Psalm 15 asks one of the Bible's most searching questions: Who can dwell in God's presence? The answer is both beautiful and unsettling. God calls His people to lives of integrity, truth, justice, generosity and love - yet none of us measures up. The good news is that Jesus is the only One who perfectly fulfilled God's standard and now invites us to share in His life through grace. Truth & Practice - Exodus 40:34-38: Can you remember the first time you met the person who would become your best friend? It may have been a special experience or one you forgot a long time ago. You probably didn’t even realize this person would become so important in your life. This week we’ll be looking at Exodus 40 and John 1. In these chapters God shows us what He is like so that we can connect with Him. It makes sense that if we want to follow Jesus, we should know all about Him. We can find hope through every challenge we face in life because of this relationship.
