Today I am joined by Dr. Melissa MacDonald (Dr. Mac) to discuss the misconceptions surrounding chiropractic care, the history of the field, internal tensions in the chiropractic profession, whether it's normal for me to not like the sound of bones popping, and so much more.
Dr. Mac earned her Doctor of Chiropractic. She then spent two years of specialty training in the Human Performance Center where she focused her research and clinical skills on specific testing and treatment protocols. Additionally, Dr. Mac served as the team clinician for the Minnesota Vixen, a professional women’s football team that won the conference championship in 2018. Dr. Mac is the Chief Medical Officer for River City Rhythms, a Drum Corp International Marching Band, the Team Chiropractor for MN Roller Derby, and Team Chiropractor of the MN Pride.
Dr. Mac has achieved both international and national certification as a chiropractic sport provider. She is a speaker on chiropractic issues in the United States as well as abroad. She hosts the MAC Performance podcast, a health and wellness podcast that will whiplash you into health.
