To kick off our Month of MLS, we chatted with Dan Lovitz, Nashville SC left-back. After a great postseason run and the second best Goals Against Average in the league, Nashville is looking to build on their inaugural season's success with faces new and old. We talked about his thoughts on their 2020 run, approach to the offseason, and what MLS teams will surprise you this season! A healthy dose of fun banter as always; big thanks to Dan for a second time talking with the Fellas.

In Ep. 52, we get a chance to connect with our High School/Club Coaches and discuss youth development, coaching, and what our teams were actually like in our younger days.

Continuing with the theme of youth development, we chatted with second time guest on the pod, and now an even more established soccer coach Tim Spenser! Since we last spoke, Tim has been coaching his own U23 team at CD Leganés, a professional club in Spain. We talked his transition to becoming a head coach in Spain, how he integrates new international players into his squad, the youth transfer market at large, and how to navigate social media with his players. To kick off the pod, the Fellas discussed how we would navigate social media as coaches, and spoiler alert it would be very ineffective.

It's Valentine's Day, and we're celebrating the romantic side of Soccer by sharing a compilation of origin stories - How our Friends of Footy Fellas fell in love with the teams they support. Enjoy!

It's Super Bowl Sunday and we dream up our ideal Soccer Super Bowl. We also begin discussing how soccer youth development has changed over the years, financial vs. winning incentives, and the impact of team tactics on player growth. More to come on this throughout the month!
