The eagles have been up and about getting a more even contribution from their side and lots of energy from first year player Harley Reid. Do the Dees have enough to get the job done over in the West? On a Thursday night with a bit of rain around the Carlton Blues played host to the Melbourne Demons at the MCG. Carlton needed a win to hold onto their spot in the 8 and make claims to be one of the better teams in 2024. From the Dees side of things, they wanted to continue their winning ways after accounting for Geelong the week prior. Who will come out on top?

What more could you ask for than a 1st vs 4th clash on a Saturday night at the MCG? The undefeated Geelong Cats took on the Melbourne Demons to see which teams early season form would be rubber stamped. What we got was an awesome clash of styles where the uncontested marks and organised defence of the Dees met the precision and want to take the game on from the Cats. It all culminated in a ridiculously good last quarter. Enjoy!
