Nonprofit founders and executive directors take being humble to an extreme. Often when I am working with small programs and startups, I almost need to sell their program to them. Do I think arrogance and unchecked ego are good, no, but I feel like insecurity plagues way too many nonprofit founders and I’m here to tell you you’re a big fricken deal.
