For The Burgh

Episode 2 of the For The Burgh Podcast features the lead singer of Saosin and Circa Survive, Anthony Green! Anthony talks about his early music career leading up to him joining Saosin, leaving to form Circa Survive, and then his long awaited return to Saosin to put out the record Along The Shadow in 2016. He mentions thinking about Primanti Bros and Mr. Smalls when he thinks about Pittsburgh, and we play the "30 days of music" Facebook challenge. Stick around until the end to hear him play a live acoustic version of Act Appalled by Circa Survive!

The first ever episode of the For The Burgh Podcast features the founding member of Taking Back Sunday, Eddie Reyes!

Eddie talks about growing up a hardcore kid/metal head on Long Island, NY and the multiple bands he started before hitting it big with Taking Back Sunday. He talks about the scariest moment of his touring career and we play a game of Wiki Fact or Fiction.

For the 20th Anniversary of the band, Eddie and I break down all 7 of Taking Back Sunday’s albums, as he shares a story about each album and gives us his favorite song off each record!

He also tells a few stories about his favorite Pittsburgh venues as well as their lead singer knocking his teeth out during a show in the Burgh, and also meeting the mother of his children at a Pittsburgh show!
