Early previews, press copies and embargoes have been around since the dawn of gaming. They are a great way to inform consumers about a title they’re interested in, before they drop their money on a purchase. However, the last few years have seen some companies tightening their embargoes and not providing press copies until much closer to the games release date. Does this show a publishers lack of confidence in their game, or the exact opposite. Could be there more sinister reasons? Ryan and Josh talk about that.
They also dive into this week’s gaming news and what games are hitting shelves and digital storefronts this week.
