Lv: Vecajā noliktavā valdīja klusums.
En: Silence prevailed in the old warehouse.

Lv: Tikai vējš šalkoja caur salauztajiem logiem, virpuļodams kritušās rudens lapas pa tukšo telpu.
En: Only the wind rustled through the broken windows, swirling fallen autumn leaves across the empty space.

Lv: Rūta stāvēja noliktavas vidū, savā prātā vīlot lielu uzvaru.
En: Rūta stood in the middle of the warehouse, in her mind envisioning a great victory.

Lv: Šogad viņa gribēja uzvarēt zinātnes izstādē skolā.
En: This year, she wanted to win the science fair at school.

Lv: Pagājusī reize bija neveiksmīga, un viņa juta, ka ir laiks pierādīt sevi un pārējiem.

Lv: Kad arī pēdējās cerības šķita izplēnējušas, Rūta sacīja: "Man tas jādara.
En: When even the last hopes seemed to have faded, Rūta said, "I have to do this.

Lv: Es nevaru atkal izgāzties.
En: I can't fail again."

Lv: " Viņa naktī klusi glabāja savas iekārtas mugursomā un devās uz noliktavu.
En: She quietly packed her equipment into her backpack at night and headed to the warehouse.

Lv: Es tev atnesu dažus instrumentus," viņš sacīja, smaidot un vicinot mazu instrumentu kastīti.
En: I brought you some tools," he said, smiling and waving a small toolbox.

Lv: "Es nevarēju tevi atstāt vienu.
En: "I couldn't leave you alone."

Lv: "Rūta nopūtās ar atvieglojumu.
En: Rūta sighed with relief.

Lv: Kopā ar Kalvi viņi turpināja darbu, un, strādājot seo roku rokā, viņiem izdevās eksperiments pabeigt veiksmīgi.
En: Together with Kalvis, they continued to work, and working hand in hand, they managed to successfully complete the experiment.

Lv: Kad viss bija pabeigts, Rūtai likās, ka smagums no pleciem ir pazudis.
En: When everything was finished, Rūta felt as if a weight had lifted from her shoulders.

Lv: Viņa saprata, ka draudzība un palīdzība ir tās atslēgas, kas viņai bija vajadzīgas, lai gūtu panākumus.
En: She realized that friendship and help were the keys she needed to succeed.

En: The next day at the science fair, Rūta stood happily by her table.
