World Golf Hall of Fame member, Deane Beman recounts his decision to turn professional after a very successful amateur career, his Tour wins and the hand injuries that ultimately led him to accept the job as PGA Tour Commissioner in 1974 at age 36. Deane tells of the early transformation of the Tour that included becoming a non-profit, creating value in television for corporate sponsors, adding a charitable focus to the Tour and developing a robust player's pension scheme. Deane Beman, Commissioner of the PGA Tour from 1974 - 1994 and World Golf Hall of Fame member tells us about his early days as an elite Amateur player. Deane recounts shooting 113 in his first tournament and then playing an exhibition with Ben Hogan as a 15-year old just two years later, playing in two U.S. Opens while still in high school and winning the U.S. Amateur twice and the British Amateur once. A 2003 inductee into the World Golf Hall of Fame and the winner of three major championships and one Players Championship, Nick Price joins us to talk about growing up in Rhodesia (present-day Zimbabwe), learning the game as a left-hander and his early successes as an amateur. Nick recounts his time spent in the Rhodesian Air Force during the "Bush War" there and the honor of representing his country in the 1976 Eisenhower Trophy. He relates the decision process to turn professional in 1977 and discusses those early days on the South African and European Tours. Finally, he fondly recalls his special relationship with his long-time caddie, Jeff "Squeeky" Medlin and growing up with his swing coach, David Leadbetter. Bruce Devlin looks back on his work after the PGA Tour which included a brief stint on the Senior Tour. He caught the course design bug beginning in the late 1960's and that, along with his pioneering days as a golf broadcaster, took him away from competition well before his elite golfing skills waned. Bruce recalls his extensive body of work designing nearly 150 courses across the globe and tells of his family's philanthropic work through The Devlin Foundation. Bruce Devlin reflects on a life and a career in golf well played, "FORE the Good of the Game."

Bruce Devlin takes us back in time to review his record in golf's major championships which included 16 top-ten and 30 top-25 finishes and 61 consecutive cuts made from 1964 - 1972. He would take his one career mulligan at Augusta where he holds the distinction of having one of only four albatrosses in the history of the Masters Tournament. He recalls having the early lead on Sunday at the 1982 U.S. Open and shares his fondness for the Open Championship.
