In this episode, Dave and Brian recount the joy of Christmas morning for themselves and their kids before breaking down a winter golf excursion (19:30) to Oak Ridge Golf Course in Brazil, Indiana. Despite 48 degree weather, shivering kids, drizzly rain, and high winds, the boys talk about how enjoyable of a round it was. The episode concludes with them breaking down Golf.com's list of the 10 biggest mistakes that high handicappers make (45:00), and how Dave's coaching let his 4th grade girls basketball team down against a team of third-graders (54:30).

Episode 6 of the ForeFathers podcast breaks down the PNC Championship, aka the Charlie Woods Coronation, and discuss what the ramifications of focusing so much national attention on an 11 year old. In addition, we bemoan the exclusion of the University of Cincinnati from the national title in college football, share our best rounds of 2020, as well as our usual odds and ends in our Scramble segment. 

Episode 5 of the Forefathers podcast takes a big picture look at the state of the women's game in 2020 since the tournament was pushed back to a Monday finish. The crew ponders the differences between the LPGA and PGA tour (9:40), why we prefer the women's game more, and call for the WGC's or other small field event to consider hosting both a men's and women's event at the same time, similar to how the ATP/WTA tour have shared events.

Afterwards we tell some stories from getting out to the municipal courses this past week during the nice weather (43:00), before wrapping it up with our "Scramble" segment (58:00) where we talk books, 6th grade girls basketball, potty training, and youth sports with masks.

On episode 4 the guys talk about tragic 'golf' gifts they've gotten in years past and try to help you out with the type of gift ideas you can get the golf nut in your life that are really wanted. Don't pay attention to a lot of what you see in those Golf Digest type of lists. Those are to appease sponsor obligations. So we let you know what we want this year and you can use that information to your advantage. And after that (37:35) we tell some dad stories about reliving past glory days with Nintendo, our kids piano recitals and family holiday singalongs that will warm your heart.

On episode 3 of the ForeFathers podcast, the guys give thanks to those special people in their life (2:45), before transitioning to breaking down The Match 3 (15:00) and whether these should be Phil's full-time job. Then, Brian breaks down his day at Trump National in Virginia (36:50) complete with waterfalls, tree ricochets, and no sightings of DJT. Finally, we finish up with some parent stories (57:20) involving the exhaustion of parenting, trash-talking kids, EPIC gender reveals, and a teachable moment while playing Among Us.
