Local lunch is brought to you by Nottingham Good Food Partnership the go to organisation for sustainable food in our fair city. Your Hosts Shona Munro and Penney Poyzer will introduce you to local people making a difference to our food system.
This Friday our guest joining us for lunch - which this week features bang bang cauliflower and oyster mushrooms in a coconut broth - is Paul Paine. Paul has been a permaculture designer since 1995 and was hugely inspired by forest gardens as well as by Plants for a Future and some of the weird edible perennials they were trialling. Paul also teaches permaculture through the WEA.
When Paul came back from his training he started work with Ecoworks and he has been there ever since. Ecoworks is a permaculture training site on the glorious and historic St Ann’s allotments which everyone MUST visit - its a green jewel in the crown of the city. Paul has also been involved in housing coops, fruit tree planting and even a cider club!
It is going to be a fascinating chat so join us at 1.30 this friday search NGFP Local Lunch on Anchor.FM, Spotify or Radio Nation - see you then!
