Forever Exiled

Hazaa! It's alive! IT'S ALIVE! The power! The control! AH HA HA HA HA! This week GGG broke down a barrier and added controller support to Path of Exile on PC! It's an awesome addition to an already great 3.17 Archnemesis league. Lots of great console features have not made their way to PC as a result and it'll be exciting to see how the new controller features get fine-tuned for 3.18. We obviously talk about lots more, but you have a console lover writing episode descriptions...sooooo....Thanks for listening everyone! Hopefully, you're still enjoying the league!

Justin's been out of town, GGG is hiring from out of town, our friends from out of town are scaring the crap out of us, and we're setting up our private league for people out of town. It was another great 3.17 week and another great Path of Exile event (for people out of town). Our community (from out of town) is still going strong with Archnemesis and we can't wait to crush their souls with our private league mods (coming in two weeks). Even when we're out of town there's always something new to discuss in PoE Land. We even pushed things to next week! Thanks for being fantastic, folks. We love ya!

What a week! What a horrible league for Elden Ring to accompany :). This league is so great, we feel guilty playing other games at the same time. The 3.17.2 patch has made an already great Archnemesis league even better. Lucky you, PC players! GGG has been busy within the community too, rewarding Path of Exile fans for their artistic talents and will be giving Twitch Rivals another go this coming week. There's always something to talk about in PoE Land and this week it's terrifying bosses. Thanks for listening! We appreciate you.

This week couldn't have been any better. 3.17's Archnemesis launch was smooth for us and it stayed that way. No nasty surprises. The patch improvements GGG made this week have been very welcome additions to the already amazing core Path of Exile game. Then, Elden Ring releases the night before we record so, we get to experience another smooth launch of an equally punishing game! But don't worry, we stayed on subject ;). Elden Ring talk will be in After Dark. This episode is all PoE...well, 99%. Thanks for the listens folks! We love you! (And thanks for the shout-out this week GGG!)

The more you play content, the more you feel like a boss. In episode 124 of Forever Exiled, we dig down into our Atlas Tree choices, the new mapping experience, boss fights, crafting...we're having the best time playing Path of Exile in 3.17's Archnemesis. And to think that the coming .1 patch will improve on that too! Screw the show notes...we didn't even look at them. We'll save the structured talk for next week :). Thanks, GGG! We're having a blast. Thanks to all our listeners and supporters! You make this so fun for us!

New bosses, old bosses, Rare "bosses", crazy bosses... everywhere are boss bosses! 3.17 Archnemesis has been out a week and we've all had a good chance to get knee-deep into the content. Whether it's Path of Exile's new atlas tree, the new bosses, the new Atlas, new currency, or the new "boss building" league, GGG has really hit a home run this league launch. Sure there's always stuff to improve, but this has been a pretty amazing experience so far. And don't take for granted the changes to the core game from previous leagues that have really enhanced this launch! We hope you enjoy our nerd session for episode 123. Thanks for all the support! We at Forever Exiled love your faces.

It's here! 3.17's Archnemesis has arrived with all of its goodies to discover. What an awesome week it's been with all the great reveals GGG gave us. I mean, Path of Exile has two passive trees now! Two Passive Trees! Nerd Heaven! In Episode 122 of Forever Exiled, we talk about all aspects of the launch. Pre-launch, post-launch, mid-launch...lunch launch. There's so much new content to discover and interact with...we couldn't handle ourselves! We're excited to keep progressing and really experience the game as a whole! Thanks for the listens, folks! You make this so fun! And congrats GGG on your smoothest launch yet...and doing it with the most concurrent players you've ever had! (There are a lot of exclamation marks in this post...I'm not yelling...I'm excited!) (Dang, there's another one.)

Dev. Manifesto! Patch Notes! League Reveal! Hazaa! We can't get enough of league reveal time! 3.16's Scourge is almost gone. It's time to welcome in 3.17's Archnemesis and a brand new end-game system! And what better way to do that than with Brittleknee! We had an awesome time throwing around our favourite moments of the newest Path of Exile reveal (though, it would have been better from a hot tub)...we had such a good time that we didn't even talk about lawns! GGG made some big changes in the core game this go around and we can't wait to get our hands on it! If you can't play PoE, the next best thing is talking about it :-). Forever Exiled loves ya! Enjoy the episode and thanks for your listens!

Yup! That's right! GGG puts out a 20-second teaser for 3.17's end-game expansion and we have an hour of content. Even though we're going to miss saying Scourge, it's exciting to see what comes after 3.16. Path of Exile seems to be headed in a rock-solid direction and we can't wait to see how much of what they've teased for Siege of the Atlas will come to pass. It's so fun nerding out with everyone when the hype starts. Enjoy the episode, folks! It's non-stop goodness (and giggles).
