This episode nearly didn’t exist… Both myself and Ainsley wanted to step into the podcast space but were overwhelmed by the details, what equipment do we need? What setting? What topics? These questions spiralled until all inspiration or hope of us ever recording one slipped away.

Fast forward a few months and what we had wasn’t what we expected. It wasn’t professional, it wasn’t perfect, it wasn’t structured. We shelved it, thinking it may never see the light of day.

After many new attempts at what we thought we wanted, we always came back here. To this recording, to this episode where we laughed and had fun with each other. So here we are… back at our first recording all those months ago, finally ready to upload.

Our initial goal with stepping into this space was to highlight others stories, to promote and give voice to the everyday people, each with an incredible perspective and story to share. So If we can pass on any advice from the creation of our first Podcast to those wanting to share their truth “JUST DO IT” (Insert Shia Labeouf) it may not be perfect and it may not be what you expect but the creation is the gift. Don’t lose sight of the creation for the story of how it should be created.
