Sami Dee Live @ The New Week After Hours Club, Pt. Two,

7am-8am. August 1995, Paris, France.

In 1995, thanks to my Friend Ron-X aka Rony, I worked for a year in an Underground After Hours Club in Paris. 7 days a week, from 5 am until my Boss, a Fierce Lady, would say it's over. The New Week was nearby Place de Clichy. I had such a great time playing this club. Not the best sound system in town but that room was just feeling right and I was very free to play & experiment whatever I was feeling like as long as The Boyz & Girlz were having it on the dancefloor! There were some very epic moments... I wish I could go back in time...House Music was very creative back then. The dancefloor was very receptive and open minded. I did have material to play all morning long without getting my audience bored. I could play Hard, Dark and very Girly. I was in My Own Zone. Last week, as I was going through my DAT collection, I've found one DAT where it was written "Sami, Live @ New Week, 5-8 am, Paris, August 1995". It's the only Live digital recording I have from my year at The New Week. 3 hours Live, vinyls only, three Technics SL1200 MKII, one CS Signature mixer and my Dj booth always in the dark. No computer, no sync mode, no fx toys, no bullshit! RAW! FIERCE! SHARP! & TIGHT! like it should always be. I can still feel the energy of that morning from this Live recording 20 years later. I have no picture of those mornings. You were not allowed to take pictures in a club back then... We were fully living the nightlife, we didnt' need smartphones. No time for pictures & texting anyway. Close your eyes, It's like a time machine! It's one warm & early morning in August '95, it's between 5 am & 8 am and the Crowd is feeling the Vibe. This was House Music and the way I used to play & party in '95. And yes, it was in Paris... I was not a Flamingo yet. But that's another story... Always In Stereo, Sami Dee.

My Boyz & Girlz,

I have just recovered this Old Guest Mix of Mine via a Facebook friend.

This is a live recording I've made in 1993 for Dimitri's ( not yet from Paris ) Show on NRJ Radio which was already the Number One Radio in France.

The playlist is awesome and The Mix just Perfect. No editing, just Live. It was hard to beat me in the '90's with those Fierce 1200 MKII's in the Mix. I was already in Protools Mode back then...

Ain't no lie! Check This Out! This Rocks The House, Big Time! Enjoy The Ride!

Sami Dee's Lessons In Love: The Rose

September 7, 2014, Paris, France.

Here is a new episod of my " Lessons In Love " series started over a decade ago.

I haven't played some of those Fierce Songs for quite a very very long time. I nearly waited for that special moment to come. I missed them. I lived so many epic times with those Songs from NYC to Paris. It was always very emotionally intense.

Those songs are remembering me one very important thing:

Always Believe In The Magic Of Your Dreams.... It sometimes just a Matter of Time. Keep moving forward!

Be Fierce, Be Sharp, Be You!

Always In Stereo,

Sami

PS: If you're into Def Mix Music, this one is for you.

Enjoy The Ride!
