In this episode, we are talking about our experiences with decision fatigue during the infertility process. The endless questions that run through your head. Should we try this procedure? Should we talk to this doctor? What about this medication? What if we do this? What if we don't do that? It's a lot and it's constant.
So we are giving the advice we have based on our experience as we navigated our fertility journey and the ultimate decision to stop pursuing parenthood.
In this episode we are talking about our trip to Alaska! We've mentioned this trip a few times in previous episodes and wanted to do a deeper dive into the highlights and our recommendations for an Alaska vacation.
This trip also represented an important part of our fertility journey timeline. We were still pursuing parenthood at this time and saw this as our last big trip prior to that happening.
Also, you don't want to miss the pictures we are going to share from this vacation on our Instagram page. You can find us at @forevertwo.podcast (Alyssa gave the incorrect handle in the episode).
In today's episode, we are reflecting on the thoughts that can come up in the quieter moments in life.
There sometimes seem to be this pressure to live a really big life when you don't have kids. Be constantly traveling or off on some grand adventure. But that's just not reality. We have PTO and budget constraints. So in this episode we are reflecting on those feelings.
In this episode, we are sharing some of the things that are commonly said to people experiencing infertility or that are childless not by choice. While these words might come from a good place, they end up not being helpful and can even be harmful in some cases.
We understand that a lot of this comes from not knowing what else to say, but that's where we come in. The goal here is to educate what can really be going through someone's head when they hear things like "don't give up hope" or "I know this person who was told they couldn't have kids but now they do."
This episode is all about what we’ve been up to since we last recorded. We’re talking about recent travels, personal growth, and life in Minnesota. This includes hockey, home projects, social life, and how we try to balance productivity and rest.
