The Lights are bright, and the Mondol stones have began something which will bring about an end. Whose though is yet to be decided, with both positive and negative strands streaming into the stones. The Lady of the jars though enters the fold, unsure but defiant.

Out in the air, the lady and Ezra follow their new friend back to the clearing where the two Mondol stones are emitting a brilliant display. There they see the work of the gentleman of the boxes, and though he has been subdued by the girl deep in the tunnels; his magic has a way of escaping still.

P'erl descends into the tunnel to save her friends, coming face to face with what the gentleman of the boxes has been toiling away with. Meanwhile Ezra and The lady of the jars battle against the tide to escape the trappings of the tunnel. There are however more discoveries and hope lurking in the woods above.

P'erl goes in search for her friends who are currently trying to escape the underground maze the gentleman of the boxes has kept them in. In their own attempts to escape, they stumble across the other Mondol stone and find a way to bring it and them to the surface. All the while, the gentleman watches on.

Spirited away by the gentleman of the boxes, Ezra and the lady of the jars find themselves underground and trapped in a warren. While the girl of Europa returns to find they are missing, she is wise to the man's intent, and sets of to put a stop to him and find her friends.
