  • Godot Fiddling Card Game: Card Behaviour

    A little clip where I show some card behaviour in godot using Hearthstone cards as a template for the cards.
    I'm not programming any game logic in here yet. My idea is to first integrate all the behaviour to make it feel as natural and smooth as possible. Once I get to that point - which is still a long road - I'll use that project as a base template for a card game.
    In regard to future plans I really like auto chess / battleground games. I don't know what I'll exactly do in the future but it's fun to theorize about all the directions I could go.
    Though, I think the "feel" of the game in combination with the sounds etc have a huge impact on how player's experience a game. So that's why I'm soly concentrating on getting that right before I start to think about the game itself. I know myself and I'll probably derail otherwise

    The amount of Hearthstone content on 3Speak/Hive is too damn low.

    So to address that let me upload one of my games today. You know, the nicest thing about Demon Hunters is by far that the games don't last too long. As such I was actually able to keep a Priest game under 10 minutes. But did I win... :o

  • [Hearthstone] Anduin Named MVP in Alliance Derby

    Anduin was named MVP in the alliance derby of Elune FC vs Real Lunara. Entering play when Elune FC was ready to throw in the towel. His performance almost completely obliterated Lunara's team at the moment he entered the pitch as well as being key in turning the whole situation around.

    In a official statement Anduin called out Sylvanas (who didn't see any play today) claiming he can't wait to face her, and the whole horde with it: "It's always great to win a derby, but I can't wait until we face a Horde team again", he said, "Especially Sylvanas, she's the most overrated card in the game in my opinion, EZ points for us"

    A bold statement indeed

  • [Hearthstone] Copy rogue doesn't copy anything (s)he needs

    Copy rogue can be rather powerful, you know 5% of the time. Trying that type of shenanigans doesn't work well against weasel priest though. It's cool to see that not everyone plays mill rogue though, this game should be more about experimenting with different types of things imo :)

    I'm fairly new to making videos like this so please check it out and give me some feedback. I'd have some constructive criticism any day

    Playing some weasel priest against a very aggro mage. Now if I only got to playing a weasel... These fast match games are always a bit of a coin flip. Now did the coin land on the right side?

    I'm thinking about doing a clip like this on a daily base. But since I'm only just starting I love some feedback guys. I'm not pro at making videos like this but I gladly hear your feedback :)

    Hey everyone,

    After seeing a lot of people posting about 3Speak (as well as the recent shoutout of 3speak to Vimm, which I value greatly). I tried my best at making a video.

    Today was mostly about experimenting with my OBS setup for Hearthstone, which besides of a few small tweaks I'm happy about. I normally don't take the time to make this type of scene, but it really looks so much nicer.

    Gameplay wise I'm reaking havoc with weasel priest. An annoying little deck that really excels at punishing... well other annoying decks. Mill rogue for example plays really worse if your opponent fills your deck with garbage and then just copy your deck right before being fatigued... but take a look yourself and let me know your thoughts :)
