Everywhere we look at this time of year, we see the colours of Christmas.

Bing is dreaming of WHITE one; Rudolph obviously prefers RED; The elves always go GREEN and Elvis had a BLUE, BLUE one. But Christmas colour are you dreaming of this season?

So how can that little baby in that ancient manger bring colour to your Christmas this year, and maybe even your very life itself?

“Come quick, I have something amazing to show you! Come and see.”

If you’ve ever heard these words, your pulse will quicken, your expectation will rise; something exciting is about to unfold. The story of Jesus is full of these moments… From a great catch of fish, to healings, miracles and even an empty grave! 

In fact, right at the very beginning of Jesus’ story is one of the greatest ‘come and see’ moments of all time… shepherds and kings invited to visit a baby in a manger.

We are building expectation for what’s to come. The invitation hasn’t changed; come and see, come and discover someone who will change your world forever, come and experience great expectations.

Ever found yourself thinking; “There’s got to be more to life than this?” We all have a common desire for an uncommon life but change requires action – do we have the courage to actually step out? Escaping mediocrity to push ourselves to go that bit further, to go beyond, to push out into deeper waters. Or do we prefer the relative safety of being tied to the harbour wall? Maybe it’s time for us to cut the ropes that hold us back… to push out to the deep… and find the cure for our common life.
