- New Curriculum: We are leading our Academy through our first-ever
curriculum - The Civil Society Tutorial Project - which was developed by two Forge Board Members!
Strength in Numbers: Forge expanded in 2021 by hiring two new full-time staff members, Kerri Smith and Forge alumna Grace Barron. With the new additions to the team, we are expanding our ability to serve students and alumni in unprecedented ways!Record Breaking Year: We received a record-setting grant to help build out our alumni network and serve alumni in greater numbers than ever before! Celebration and Collaboration: Over 300 Forge champions joined us at the Forge Banquets in Dayton and Columbus, Ohio to celebrate Forge and meet other supporters who are passionate about raising up the next generation of conservative leaders.Forge DC: The 2020-2021 Academy traveled to Washington, D.C. in May for a week of networking, learning, and incredible experiences.Forge Leadership Summit: We welcomed 80 students for the 2021 Summit for a week of hands-on training, insightful speaker presentations, and the Forge legislative simulation at the Ohio Statehouse. View the recap here.Forge Israel: Forge students traveled to Israel in July, despite severe restrictions. These restrictions continue to present challenges, but we're working on innovative ways to enhance our state > national > international experiences.Life Changing Impact: Because of generous supporters, Forge has trained over 400 young conservatives from 40 states who are now serving in policy, law, business, ministry, and media.
