This weeks special guest is with high performing female role model, Leoni Munslow.

Leoni is a Masters World champion in Brazilian JuiJitsu, a 2 x European gold medalist and 9 x podium medalist, 4 x British champion AND proudly represents London as a firefighter. 

She is an incredible ambassador in both her sport and profession, setting the standards for herself and those around her, through her diligence, work ethic and consistent drive to explore where she can take herself.

In this conversation we talk about Leoni's incredible BJJ career, finding the sport by default through idolising her brother and wanting to do what he did, moving to London and opening her eyes to new ways of viewing the world, the emotions of losing her passport pre European Final, honing her resilience, will and craft by training and fighting men and the virtues of habit stacking, consistency, and how the results she achieves are directly linked with how we do anything is how we do everything.

She is a legend of a human being, a role model for men and women alike, and I'm extremely excited to bring episode to you.

A beautifully open conversation with Ex Leeds Rhinos rugby league captain, Steve Ward. Steve opens up about rugby league becoming his playground to express himself and have fun at a young age, the triumphs of winning the games biggest cup competition, The Challenge Cup, and after dislocating his shoulder 2 weeks prior, Steve's mental capacity to push through pain enabling him to step on the field and play a starring role in the final of The Super League to win the prestigious title with his boyhood club.

Steve shares his strength and vulnerability in talking about his recent retirement from the game, at the tender age of 28, due to successive concussions and the impact this has had on his mental health and his life overall. Its a very humbling conversation of how your dreams can be taken from you, but one that shows great resilience and bravery, that he has redefined himself to create further impact in the world through such adversity. 

He is doing amazing work, utilising his experiences and passion on his platform, Mantality -Going Beyond Stigma. A space where he is helping men challenge themselves to be the best version of themselves.

Rick gives a brief insight to where he has come from, a childhood in a volatile home, dreaming of a pro rugby career, the broken back and semi paralysis that for all intent purpose was meant to put an end to a normal life, but only served as the fuel to what he defiantly went on to achieve and gain his own significance in the world.

Rick expresses his awareness in that life is a one shot gig. There is always exploration to be had, always opportunities no matter what the scenerio or circumstance we are dealt. That life happens for us, not to us.
