Reflect today on the infinite spiritual authority and power of our Lord. It’s a power beyond anything we can imagine, and He wants to use it in your life out of love. What is stopping Him from taking greater control of your life? What sin or temptation does He want to rebuke in your life? What oppression does He want to free you from? Imagine yourself as one of the people of Capernaum who fully welcomes Jesus, is amazed by Him, and desires Him in your life. His work in your life depends on your response to Him. Call on Him and let Him in.

Reflect, today, on the lessons from Herod's example. God can use all situations for His glory, even the negative examples of others, to reveal tendencies within ourselves. Seek out the areas of unresolved guilt and conflict in your life and invite God's mercy to bring healing and peace.

Reflect on the important mission of seeing God's presence in those around you. What if Jesus had grown up in your town, as your neighbor? While the Incarnate Son of God does not live next door as He did in Nazareth, He lives in each person you encounter daily. Honestly reflect on how well you see Him and commit to the holy mission of seeing Him more clearly, rejoicing in His greatness all around you.

Reflect on this question Jesus asked the Twelve. Hear Him asking you this question. Do you understand what God is saying to you right now? As you read the Scriptures, do you sense God revealing Himself to you? Do you understand His desires for you? If hearing God's voice is challenging, spend more time prayerfully pondering His Word so that His Living Voice will resonate more clearly within your soul.

Reflect on two things today. First, have you discovered the treasures God has given you? If you're unsure, there is likely much more to discover. Second, as you discover the riches of faith, have you allowed God's words to consume you to the point that you are willing to do whatever it takes to receive more of His grace? Resolve to seek these holy treasures, and you will find that the riches of grace you obtain are of infinite value.

Reflect on the depth of hope in your life. How driven are you by the promises of our Lord? How well do you understand those promises? If you struggle with hope, spend more time contemplating the promised reward. Believe what Jesus says and make His promises the central focus of your life.

Reflect on this holy but imperfect family. Their weaknesses should encourage us to continue our faith when our lives aren't perfect. Many things can discourage us, issues in the Church, family struggles, emotional problems, persistent sins, or physical ailments. If you relate to any of these, take inspiration from Martha, Mary, and Lazarus. Invite Jesus into your heart, your home, and everywhere you go. He will come, gently correct you when needed, and give you new life, raising you from your sins and weaknesses.

Reflect on Jesus' journey to a remote area for this miracle and see it as an invitation to discover the abundant grace of the Eucharist. Reflect today on your soul as fertile ground. What "seeds" are sown there? What do you allow to penetrate your heart and take root? Are you vigilant, remaining attentive to the ways the evil one tries to mislead you with subtle lies and errors? Consider these questions honestly. If you find conflict and confusion in your life, look more deeply at their source. If you have allowed lies into your life, turn them over to our Lord so He can remove them at the proper time.

Reflect today on this high calling from our Lord. Achieving a heart rich in fertile soil for God's Word requires unyielding commitment. Temptations will constantly fight against you. Examine your own heart honestly. How fertile is it? Does God’s Word grow and bear abundant fruit there? Commit to becoming that rich soil where God’s Word can thrive and produce a hundredfold.
