Reflect today on Jesus's teachings in the Sermon on the Mount. Consider how His authority challenges and inspires you to live according to God's will. Embrace His New Law of grace and mercy, and pray for the grace to submit yourself fully to His authority in all aspects of your life.

Today, reflect deeply on Jesus' teachings. Do you discern clearly the good and bad fruit in your surroundings? Is your life contributing to falsehoods or to the truth and love of God? Evaluate the fruit of your life objectively against the teachings of Jesus. Seek earnestly to produce good fruit, regardless of the challenges, and in doing so, not only will you save your soul but also nourish others with the fruits of Heaven.

Today, reflect on Jesus' words and assess your life in light of His teaching. Are you actively choosing the narrow gate? Does your love for God inspire you to live in a way that glorifies Him fully? Strive to enter the narrow gate and walk the constricted road with determination, knowing that the reward — union with God — is infinitely precious.

Reflect today on the fact that, while you were not sanctified in the womb, you were sanctified by Baptism. You were strengthened by the Spirit through Confirmation and are regularly fed by the Holy Eucharist. In many ways, you are as blessed as John. Consider that God has a unique mission for you. Say "Yes" to that mission today so that you, too, may be seen as "great" in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Reflect on today's Gospel scene. Take time to read it slowly. Read a sentence, then close your eyes and imagine it. See Jesus entering the boat. Imagine the boat as a symbol of the Cross. Picture the sea as the evils of the world. Think about the disciples' fear during the storm. See yourself in the boat, waking Jesus. Hear Him calm the waves and restore peace. Hear Him ask you about your struggles: "Why are you terrified? Do you not yet have faith?" As you meditate on this and other Gospel passages, know that God will speak to you and reveal His message for you today.

Reflect on the necessity of being singularly devoted to God. Consider whom and what God calls you to love through Him. Where does His will lead you, and how are you called to show your love for God through love for others? Examine any unhealthy attachments to money or anything else that distract you from your ultimate purpose. Allow God to purge these false "loves" from your heart so you can love as you were made to love.

Reflect on your most fundamental intention in life. This requires significant interior reflection and honesty. Consider what motivates you and the decisions you make daily. Reflect on the primary purpose of your life, which should be to give God the greatest glory by choosing and living His perfect will. Do your daily actions align with this goal? Commit to examining your actions in this light to fully achieve the purpose for which you were created.

Reflect on any lingering anger you feel. Address those feelings by choosing to forgive the person you're angry with. Do this now, later today, tomorrow, and continually. Overwhelm anger and bitterness with forgiveness, and you will find that God will free you from the burden of unforgiveness.

Reflect on your fasting practice and other opportunities for silent sacrifices to God. If you endure a daily cross beyond your control, offer it to God joyfully. If you can fast regularly, commit to doing so, especially on Fridays in honor of Good Friday. These hidden sacrifices are valuable and can bring many spiritual blessings.

Reflect today on those you need to pray for. Who has hurt you or your family? Who do you hold a grudge against? Commit to deep and sustained prayer for that person. Pray often and continue praying as long as the persecution continues. This will turn any malice directed at you into grace for them and holiness for you.
