God expects you to get up after a mistake and keep driving ahead. Let go of past mistakes and failures. "Forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus” (Phil 3:13-14). Remorse is not sinful but when it turns into guilt it changes to sin. Guilt is part of the emotional complex of sins. Guilt motivates many failures in the spiritual life. Satan will use guilt to distract, discourage and defeat you. You must learn to overcome guilt. God’s problem-solving device rebound addresses sin. You don’t have to live with guilt. Move forward in your spiritual life by learning and applying God’s Word.
