Forget The Box

TruTV associate producer talks development. Katie Tibaldi, creator/director of the unreleased yet already award-winning web series Seeking Sublet as well as an Associate Producer on TruTV's At Home with Amy Sedaris sits down with Forget The Box to answer the age-old indie film question... can you actually pull this off? (The answer is yes. Yes you can.)

An Emmy-winning idea can come from anyone and anywhere. On this inaugural episode of Forget The Box, we start from the beginning, talking brainstorming, how reality can help shape your creativity, exotic dancer/welder vampire roommates, and more with Lizzie Bennet Diaries creator Bernie Su. If you review Forget The Box on iTunes and send a screenshot to [email protected], you could be entered to win tons of awesome prizes! Plus, email [email protected] with any questions for guests of future episodes.

Stareable is dedicated to helping creators make, market, and monetize amazing web series and independent television. But while we have historically done that through our blog and our creator forum, we've realized that we have so much more to offer.

That's why we're launching our new podcast, Forget the Box. Each episode will feature an interview with a web series creator or industry expert who has successfully mastered a different aspect of the art, skill and, and tenacity that goes into making great TV.

In honor of our new podcast, we're running a CONTEST! If you review our podcast on iTunes and send us a screenshot to [email protected], we'll enter you into a drawing to win a bunch of amazing prizes, including a free ticket to Stareable Fest, a free "Forget the Box" t-shirt, and a $250 Amazon gift card.
