There was something within Hezekiah as good a -person, King, Leader- as he was that God saw, that needed to be tested to show us what pride can do in eroding our faith if we are not continually praying to God and putting self to death. It seems as though there was a lack of balance in his life especially after the additional fifteen years were added to his life.
