In Part 2 of our forgiveness conversation, we explore the deeper layers of what it really means to forgive — not just others, but places, seasons, systems, and even ourselves. Forgiveness isn’t forgetting or pretending it didn’t hurt. It’s courage. It’s healing. It’s taking your life back with God leading the way.

We walk through Archbishop Desmond Tutu’s four-step process of forgiveness — telling the story, naming the hurt, granting forgiveness, and renewing or releasing — and unpack why true closure doesn’t come from the other person, but from releasing the burden into God’s hands.

We also talk about self-forgiveness, often the hardest of all. God’s forgiveness includes you — fully and finally. When He sends you away in peace, He sends your shame away too.
